Families are in for a treat later this month as Sledmere House hosts its ever-popular fireworks night on Saturday 25th October 2025, complete with a new early low noise display for younger and sensory-sensitive visitors.
Set in the historic grounds of the stately home, this year’s event promises a night of superheroes, sci-fi, and sparkling displays, along with a bonfire, funfair rides, street food stalls, and plenty of family entertainment.
Organisers say the main fireworks will once again be choreographed to music, creating a dazzling spectacle against the backdrop of Sledmere House and Gardens. Gates open from 4pm, with discounted funfair rides available during the first hour. The low noise display is expected to start at around 6.30pm, followed by the main show at approximately 7.30pm.
A spokesperson said:
“We can’t wait to welcome families back to Sledmere for our biggest show yet. This year we’re adding a low noise display earlier in the evening alongside our music-choreographed showcase, so everyone can enjoy the magic in a way that’s right for them.”
Visitors can also look out for roaming superhero and sci-fi characters, offering fun photo opportunities throughout the evening.
Tickets are available online only at sledmerefireworks.co.uk, with discounts for Sledmere Friends. Carer tickets are offered at a 60% discount, and full details can be found on the event website.
Parking will be clearly signposted near the arena (use postcode YO25 3XS and follow event signage). For those wanting to warm up, hot food and refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
