There is a new owner at Cranswick Garden Centre, but visitors can expect the same great offers and friendly customer service they have come to know and love.
The garden centre, located on the A164 just eight miles outside Beverley, has been taken over by Red Robin Garden Centres Ltd.
Nicky Goodlass, who has worked at the centre for 14 years, said the new owners were looking forward to an exciting new chapter.
“We are delighted to announce that Cranswick Garden Centre has been taken over by Red Robin Garden Centres Ltd.
“We want to reassure all of our loyal customers that the friendly service, quality products and welcoming atmosphere you know and love will remain at the heart of everything we do.
“At the same time, we’re looking forward to bringing you exciting new ideas, fresh inspiration and even more reasons to visit.

Set across approximately 4.45 acres, Cranswick Garden Centre combines traditional horticultural products with a modern retail environment and a popular café-bistro.
There is also a large car park with space for more than 100 cars.
The former owners, Ray and Carolyn Sharpe, had owned the business since 2007 and undertook a programme of improvements in recent years.
They said: “Cranswick has been a rewarding business to grow, and we’ve invested heavily to bring it to its current standard.
“We’re pleased to hand it over to a new owner with the energy and ambition to take it further.”
The centre has been bought by Arron McCombie, who is new to the garden centre sector but has acquired the business with a clear strategy to expand.
He is actively seeking further acquisitions as part of a wider growth plan for his business, the McCombie Group.
Arron said: “Cranswick is a lovely centre that has a great customer base.
“The centre has benefitted from a lot of investment in recent years and we will continue with that over the coming years.”
