Beverley man charged with multiple offences, including assaulting emergency services staff

A 21-year-old Beverley man has been charged with multiple offences following his arrest yesterday (4th August).
George Joyce, of no fixed abode, has been charged in connection with four counts of commercial burglary, one count of attempted commercial burglary, six counts of shop thefts and two counts of assaulting emergency service workers.
There will also be 19 further counts of shop theft taken into consideration.
Joyce was remanded in custody to appear at court today (Friday 5th August).
