There was home success in the Fun Run held before the main Beverley 10k race on Sunday morning.
Caleb Proudlove was first to the finish line, racing home in six minutes and 49 seconds.

He was five seconds ahead of his nearest rival Stirling Ford of Kingston upon Hull, with Simeon Todd of Valley Striders a close third.

Lois Pottage was the girls winner, fourth overall in 7:03, with her Beverley AC team-mates Ella Harris-Smith and Indie Proudlove in silver and bronze medal positions.

Beverley AC provided 27 of the 170 runners, mainly youngsters, who lined up at the start of the race, which was sponsored by B&A Scaffolding.

They completed two laps of the town centre, and everyone who completed the 2km challenge received a medal.
