Appeal for witnesses to road collision in Skirlaugh

Policeare appealing for dashcam footage following a collision involving a white van and pedestrian on Main Street, Skirlaugh, yesterday (Wednesday 22nd March).

At around 4.20pm it is reported that a white Nissan tipper style van has collided with a stationary vehicle which has subsequently collided with a pedestrian.

The van is then believed to have fled the scene following the collision and the pedestrian was taken to hospital to receive medical treatment for minor injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dash cam footage in the area around this time, is also asked to call the police non-emergency number 101 quoting log 348 of 22 March.
