Beverley Racecourse is set to sizzle this Wednesday, 13 August, as Ladies’ Day 2025 brings style, sunshine and the thrill of racing to the historic Westwood.
With a glorious forecast of 29°C by late afternoon, racegoers can look forward to a day of stunning fashion, elegant hats, and champagne celebrations against the backdrop of one of East Yorkshire’s most glamorous events.
Presented by Porsche Centre Hull, this glittering fixture promises a heady mix of high-octane racing, head-turning fashion, and electric atmosphere — a true highlight of the summer social calendar.
Gates open at 11:15am, with the first race thundering up the Westwood at 2:15pm and the last scheduled for 4:45pm. But while the horses will be delivering edge-of-your-seat drama on the turf, much of the spotlight will fall on the enclosures, where elegance, creativity and couture take centre stage.
The heart of the off-track excitement? The Most Stylish Racegoer competition — a fiercely contested affair where judges will scour the crowd for fashion-forward flair. Led by 2024 winner Amanda Hartley, the panel will select five finalists before crowning the winner during a special Grand Finale from 3pm.
The champion racegoer won’t just walk away with bragging rights. This year’s fabulous prize package includes a weekend Porsche rental, a luxury voucher from Laceby Manor, a shopping treat from Beverley’s own Molly Browns, and two VIP tickets to a show at Connexin Live.
Racegoers can choose between two distinct enclosures: the family-friendly Picnic Enclosure, perfect for a relaxed raceday vibe, or the Grandstand & Paddock, offering a livelier, more fashion-forward scene. However, Beverley Racecourse advises that under-18s do not attend this particular event, given its adult-oriented atmosphere.
Accessibility remains a priority, with a free companion ticket available for those who require assistance.
Ladies Day 2025 also marks the second year in a three-year partnership between Beverley Racecourse and Porsche Centre Hull — a collaboration that continues to elevate the prestige of the event. The luxury car brand will be on-site with brand activations, racing sponsorships, and displays of the latest Porsche models, adding an extra dose of aspirational allure to an already unforgettable day.
