Christmas Tree Festival returns to Beverley Minster
This year’s Beverley Minster Christmas Tree Festival will take place from Wednesday 4th to Sunday 8th December, when over 150 decorated trees will be on display in the medieval church.
Each tree is sponsored by a different local charity, organisation, school or business. These groups can decorate their tree as they wish, meaning every fir tree is unique once it has been dressed and lit with fairy lights.
The festival will open from 9am-5pm on 4th December, with last entry at 4:30pm. On the Thursday, there will be an extended opening from 9am to 8pm, with last entry at 7:30pm.
Saturday will see opening times of 9am to 4pm, before Sunday’s opening, coinciding with the Beverley Festival of Christmas, will be 9am to 5pm.
Entry is £5 for adults and free for children under the age of 18, with cash and card accepted on the door.
This year, the festival is offering an opportunity to create a festive table centrepiece.
The workshops, led by members of Beverley Flower Club, are an opportunity to meet with friends and create something beautiful for the festive season.
A mince pie and hot chocolate or mulled wine is included in the price during the sessions on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th December.

To give everyone a chance to experience the festival, opening hours have been extended across the five days.
The last entry times mean visitors will have 30 minutes to enjoy the event before the Minster closes.
There will be quiet sessions on 4th, 5th and 6th December for an hour at 9am. This is for neurodiverse visitors who may struggle with crowds and noise during other times.
Entry to the Christmas Tree Festival is £5, with accompanied children under the age of 18 allowed in free of charge.
