Are you, or do you know someone, who is between 13 and 18 and living in Beverley?
If so, there is a photo competition you may wish to enter. Called Similar yet Different, it celebrates everything that units us as well as those that make us different.
Supported by Beverley Town Council it is a joint venture between Beverley and its twin town Nogent-sur-Oise, near Paris, and its twin in Tuscany, Fucecchio.
Winning entries will be displayed in all three towns next summer. There is no cost and phone photos are permitted.
The closing date is Wednesday 20th December.
Participants may like to attend a free, workshop at St Mary’s Church Hall on Sunday 12th November from 2pm-4pm.
Parents may attend with their child. If your child would prefer to go along independently, organisers ask an adult to sign a form, giving permission.
This can be signed on arrival or by request in advance. To book or gain further details email nigelwalkerphoto@gmail.com.
