Alice Rennison has taken the reins of Educare Nursery and Out of School Club in Beverley, continuing the legacy of excellence in childcare.

The nursery has arranged an open day on Saturday 8th July from 10am to 12.30pm and welcomes you to visit, look around our facilities and experience our exciting activities.

Educare Nursery is pleased to announce that Alice Rennison has taken full control of the business, following the devastating loss of both her mother and grandfather to COVID-19 in 2020.

Alice’s family has been involved in the nursery since its establishment 25 years ago, and she attended Educare Nursery as a baby to four years old. After completing her degree in Law at Nottingham Trent, an award-winning law school, Alice returned to run the nursery and continues to provide high-quality child care.

Educare Nursery was founded with the vision of providing excellence in childcare at affordable prices, and this mission continues to guide the business under Alice’s leadership.

The nursery offers a unique learning experience based on traditional family values, with a focus on providing a safe, secure, and fun environment for children of all ages. Alice’s mission is to provide a positive environment where all children, families, and staff grow together and everyone is valued and respected.

Alice’s long-term family friend and leading local and national businessman Godfrey Burley, has been providing support to the family business, and Educare Nursery is going from strength to strength.

Educare Nursery was originally run by David Whincup, a former senior police officer for Humberside Police and Director of The British Red Cross, and his daughter Joanne Rennison, Alice’s mother.

“Educare Nursery is committed to providing the best quality child care and a unique learning experience for children of all ages. I am proud to continue the legacy of excellence in childcare that my family has built over the past 25 years,” said Alice.

Julie Helyard a qualified Nursery Practitioner who looked after Alice as a baby and has worked at the Educare Nursery for the past 23 years, said: “It’s such a delight to be welcoming Alice back, it’s a great story and I am so pleased she is continuing the family-run business.”
