Braves hoping for a record-breaking turnout at fun run

Lace up your running shoes and prepare for an event filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit at the Beverley Braves Rugby Club sponsored fun run.
All are invited to take part from 11am on Saturday 1st July as the club take on Beverley Westwood for a day of excitement and camaraderie.
The Beverley Braves Rugby Club sponsored fun run promises to bring together individuals, families, and teams from all walks of life for exercise and unity.
Whether you’re an experienced runner or just starting your fitness journey, this event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities.
The route for the fun run will follow the popular well-worn path, ensuring a scenic and enjoyable experience for all.
Participants can choose between a 5K challenge or a shorter 2.5K route designed for children under 10 years old.
Gather your family and friends, and hit the track together! Beverley Braves is extending the invitation to other rugby clubs and clubs from different sports that want to raise money for their club by offering them the opportunity to join in.
A nominal fee of £5 per runner from these clubs and their own sponsorship will go directly towards their own fundraising initiatives.
The aim is to break the previous record of 450 runners. Family, friends and walk-ups on the day, not associated with the club, can enter for £5.
In addition to promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle, the event plays a crucial role in supporting Beverley Braves Rugby Club.
All funds raised from the sponsored fun run will directly contribute to club projects, including the development of a new gym facility, presentation day, and increased referee charges.
After conquering the run, the club will keep the celebration going with surprises planned for the afternoon and evening.
There will also be a barbecue and cold drinks.
