Man charged after warrant uncovers firearms

A man has been charged and remanded after Humberside Police carried out a warrant in Woodmansey this week.

Officers attended an address on Tuesday 14th March. On entering the property, a number of firearms and a quantity of Class A drugs were recovered.

Joshua Simmons, 29, of Woodmansey, has been charged with three counts of possessing a firearm without a certificate, possession with intent to supply cocaine and handling stolen goods.

Simmons has been remanded into custody to appear at Hull Crown Court next month.
