Five days of festive activities in Beverley are drawing nearer as the popular Festival of Christmas returns to the town.
The festival, proudly supported by The Beverley Arms, is now in its 26th year and will be held in Saturday Market on Sunday 11th December between 10am and 4pm.
The festival attracts thousands of visitors to the East Riding from all corners of the UK to experience Christmas food, drink and arts and crafts.
Each year, on the second Sunday in December, the centre of Beverley is transformed into a magical Christmas shopper’s wonderland, as more than 110 stalls brimming with gorgeous yuletide gifts and local treats take over the historic market town.
The festival will also be running in North Bar, Wednesday Market and Flemingate.
This follows the returning Made in East Yorkshire Christmas Market which runs between Wednesday 7th and Friday 9th December.
The traditional Saturday Market offering will also be running on 10th December with a Christmas theme.
The Made in East Yorkshire Christmas Market will celebrate the very best produce that the county’s businesses have to offer.
In its second year, this event will have additional themed entertainment each day and a festive feel throughout the event.
The three days of the market will take place within the Saturday Market area in Beverley, opening at 10am and finishing at 6pm with an array of festive entertainment and activities planned throughout.
There is a free park and ride service available from Beverley Racecourse, with buses running from 9am to 5pm on Sunday 11th December.
For Made in East Yorkshire Christmas Market, a park and ride from the racecourse will run from 9:45am to 6:30pm, with pick up approximately every 20 minutes.
