Beverley ARLFC’s fixtures for 2022 season in National Conference League

Beverley ARLFC will begin the 2022 National Conference League (NCL) with a trip to Hunslet Warriors on Saturday 5th March.

The Blue & Golds have a tricky looking start to Division 2, hosting Normanton Knights the following week before trips to Dewsbury Moor and Woolston Rovers.

The NCL will revert to its familiar format in 2022 for the first time in three seasons, with the localised division created in a bid to prevent unnecessary travel in 2021 scrapped.

Another noteworthy fixture is a trip to Heworth on 9th April being Beverley’s nearest thing to a derby in 2022, with the return fixture on 4th June.

The York outfit is likely to be among the promotion front-runners following their impressive showing in the emergency regionalised competition in 2021, where they topped the table.

Pre-season has already been an eventful one for the Blue & Golds, with new head coach Trevor Penrose given two months to prepare his troops.

Beverley also hopes to arrange pre-season friendlies in the coming weeks.
